Under the GP Mental Health Plan, you are eligible for 10 session rebates per Calendar Year. The rebate for a general psychologist is $86.15 while the rebate for a clinical psychologist is $126.50. As such, our fees are adjusted to be comparable.

Strict Cancellation Policy

As a low-fee business, we rely heavily on clients to inform us when you need to reschedule or cancel. We ask for a 48 hour notice to do so. This helps us inform others who may be on the waiting list and to sustain our mission of providing affordable services (it keeps us open in the long-run!).

For late cancellations and absences, a $40 fee applies. This fee can be paid before or at the start of your next appointment. It covers administrative costs and other overheads for the hour that was set aside for the appointment and is not rebatable by any third party funding. We may choose to waive one cancellation fee depending on circumstances. Further absences and late notices will incur a cancellation fee regardless. We also reserve the right to discontinue services after multiple cancellations and encourage clients to return when therapy is suitable for them.

With that being said, it has been in our experience that mental health symptoms are the most common challenges that people face when it comes to attendance. The best place for you to overcome these issues would be in therapy. The commitment to attend your psychology appointments is the first stepping stone to better wellbeing!
